began with creating distribution cards for the pins – I wanted to weave and scan as the design for this. towards the end of week 4 i began to reconsider the distribution of the pin and I started thinking about the factor of time and personalization. what if instead of giving people premade pins i create kits for them to create them on their own. maybe i no longer need an icon? maybe pin design can be left to the user and stitches can just represent data ratios. with these pins i could gather an online archive of user made pins
